By combining and in many ways enhancing the properties found in SimpliShade Universal composite, these two new products are designed to simplify procedures even further.
How are they different?
The quality of SimpliShade Universal Composite has shone through with the awards it has won and its popularity among DCPs.
However, being a conventional composite, it is not without its limitations especially when it comes to speed of application as it requires incremental layering and curing.
This is part of the reason why bulk fills have become so popular in recent years. Bulk fill composites like SimpliShade Bulk Fill are translucent enough to allow curing lights to reliability penetrate material as thick as 5mm with a single fill.
This results in a reduction in time of material placement and light curing, and reduces the risk of air pockets and voids, all very much desirable among dentists.
Bulk fills are also highly regarded for their high flexural strength and low shrinkage stress.
Meanwhile, flowables are renowned for their excellent handling properties and increased fluidity, which allows them to be used in tight or small indications as the material flows into the small recesses of a preparation.

Combining the depth of cure and durability of a traditional bulk fill with the adaptability of a flowable, SimpliShade Bulk Fill Flow offers an array of clinical advantages.
Like SimpliShade Bulk Fill, SimpliShade Bulk Fill Flow can cure up to 5mm, before adding a capping layer.
Its adaptability allows it to fill every area of the tooth’s anatomy with a self-levelling formulation that easily adapts to the cavity floor.

Going one step further than SimpliShade Universal Composite which covered the 16 VITA classical shades in just three shades, the new SimpliShade Bulk Fill and Bulk Fill Flow require just one shade to match ALL 16.
This can help you reduce chair time spent on shade matching and allow you to cut back on the numbers of different shade variations you need to keep in stock, which means money saved too.
This is simplified shade-matching is achieved thanks to the composite’s adaptive Colour-Blending Response Technology, which mimics enamel structures and naturally interacts with light for enhanced blending between restoration and tooth.

Another big improvement with SimpliShade Bulk Fill and Bulk Fill Flow is ART3 (Ternary Adaptive Response Technology).
An enhance version of the ART used in SimpliShade Universal Composites, ART3 makes sculpting easier as viscosity is reduced during handling then recovers stability for light curing to minimise rework.
ART3 also lessens shrinkage stress between the filling and resin matrix during curing for improved marginal adaption.
